Dr. Pifer's one year program aimed at weight loss, improved metabolism and body composition. The goal is to live a longer and healthier life.

💜 Sleep
Good sleep is often overlooked but it is foundational to your metabolism. We screen for sleep apnea and other sleep disorders and then we walk you through an all-natural 7 step program aimed at improving sleep. We use and recommend sleep trackers to determine how much progress you are making.
💜 Sugar
Once sleep is addressed, we focus on diet by using continuous glucose monitoring to identify your particular pattern. Once we understand the pattern, we recommend specific changes to diet that are tailored to you.
💙 Fasting
With sleep and sugar addressed and your pattern understood, we recommend changes to the timing of your diet. Our goal here is to further train your body to burn fat. This is often referred to as "metabolic flexibility". As with the sugar regimen, we have ways to measure how flexible your body has become using real time tools.
🧡 Fitness/Strength
The final regimen in the protocol is the all-important fitness and strength regimen. Fitness, strength and muscle mass are the most important and impactful parameters for your metabolism. In fact, we find that patients at the highest levels of fitness and strength based on age, have the lowest risk of metabolic diseases.
